    Q: How do I list a takeaway with mylocaltakeaway.com?
    A: Easy! Visit: your account control panel and click on the add/edit takeaways icon. Then click on the List a takeaway link. Then follow the on screen instructions from there.

    Q: What are the benefits of a premium listing?
    A: Increase the chance of business, highlighted listings at the TOP of the page, display your menu online and customise your advert... all with the premium listings!

    Q: How do I edit the details of my takeaway listing?
    A: In your account control panel, click on the add/edit takeaways icon. Now select the image of the cog next to the takeaway that you wish to edit the details for.

    Q: How do I make my takeaway menu online?
    A: Listing your menu online is a great way of attracting more customers. Note that this is available to our premium customers only. If you have a premium listing, then click on the cog image next your takeaway listing in the add / edit takeaways section of your account control panel. To activate your online menu, click on the "Activate Online Menu" as shown in the image below:

    Q: How can I customise my listing?
    A: You can customise your advert by adding keywords that describe your takeaway, adding your menu online so that mylocaltakeaway.com users can browse before they buy saving you time on the phone and at the same time increasing your listing profile. Note that customisable adverts are for premium customers, and becoming a premium customer is probably much cheaper than you think! If you just want to simple change or update your takeaway details, this can be done in the 'add/edit takeaways' part of your account control panel.

    Q: What are keywords?
    A: Keywords are words that you can define to describe your takeaway, or takeaways services. Some examples of keywords could be: "We deliver", "Tasty Pizza", "Open until midnight". Note that keywords are only available to our premium customers. See below for an example of how keywords look to the user:

    Q: How do I add keywords to my listing?
    A: In your account control panel, click on the 'edit/add takeaways' icon. Now click on the cog image next to the takeaway that you wish to add keywords to. If after clicking the cog image you cannot see the option to add any keywords, then you haven't yet been upgraded to a premium listing.

    Q: How do I change my password that I use to log in to mylocaltakeaway.com?
    A: You can change your password by using the change password utility within your account section. Remember to write down your password somewhere safe.

    Q: How do I update my contact details?
    A: You can update your personal contact details by clicking on the 'Edit Personal Details' link in your account control panel.

    Q: I've added a takeaway but it's not active yet. What do I do now?
    A: Please allow up to 48 hours for a takeaway to be approved. If in the rare case it has been longer than 48 hours since you added a takeaway and it is still not active, then please contact our support team and we will process your request as a priority. Please note that when your takeaway is active, you will see it listed in add/edit takeaways part of your account control panel.

    Q: According to my account control panel, my takeaway listing is active but when I try to search for the takeaway by postcode, the takeaway isn't listing. Why?
    A: Remember that takeaways will only be listed that are within 5 miles of the takeaway that is used to search for takeaways. Please ensure that the postcode you are using is correct and is being typed in the correct format, and that the postcode is of an area within 5 miles of your takeaway. In the rare case that your takeaway still isn't listing, then please contact our support team and we will process your request as a priority.
